Dear friends,

welcome to 2010! We hope you all had a good start into the new decade.

As we've already pronounced earlier on our last shows, Bettie Ford will finally record a brand new full length album! To be more specific, we're going to enter the BluboxTonstudio (Troisdorf, Germany) on January, the 16th!

Furthermore we are very happy to say that no one else than Guido Lucas will be the producer for the third Bettie Ford album. Last year we've worked together with Guido on our 10th Anniversary Single "One for the Road" and it was a lot of fun and a great experience for us. Over the years Guido has produced the records of bands like Harmful, Scumbucket, Genepool, Ulme and Blackmail. And since Blackmail guitarist Kurt Ebelhäuser was responsible for our last two albums, this is where we complete the circle!

Currently we have 18 new songs completed, written right in Don Ford's personal hit factory and the hit potential of each new one seems to excel the one before. We'll see which of them will make it to the final stage and onto the record.

Apart from that, we have no further information at the moment for you yet, so we can't tell you when and where the album will be released. But since we want you to be part of the whole project "Album No. 3" from the beginning, we're going to keep you updated by writing a lot of exclusive diary entries full of hot news and stories about studio life. That means, beginning January, the 16th, it would be an excellent idea for you to visit bettieford.com a little bit more often again.

Folks, as you can imagine, there are a lot of more news to come! By the way, things like a "Best Of Bettie Ford - Unplugged" album are also on our to do list for 2010, so stay tuned!
