« It's quiet before the storm »

Hey Folks,

well, due to the upcoming occassion, this time, the Don is writing to you!

I bet some of you have been asking themselves why it's so quiet with the Betties. Well, first of all, I have been quite busy the last few weeks preparing for the recording session of my solo album which starts tomorrow. Since it has always been a dream of mine for years, I am pretty excited about it. Others buy new cars, I buy myself a solo album! More news to come soon.

But since I have also been hearing stuff like "A solo album marks the beginning of the end of a band", let me tell you that nothing could be more wrong! Quite the opposite is the case, because while I prepared for my solo project, which is more a Singer / Songwriter thing and sounds more like "Days of the New" and "Temple of the Dog", Brat and I have been busy working on the third Bettie Ford record. More news to come here also soon!
